Mediation at MCCR is a voluntary, confidential process in which two neutral co-mediators facilitate communication between disputing parties to try to assist them in reaching a resolution.
If you are interested in participating in the Commission’s mediation services, please speak to the Civil Rights Officer assigned to your case.
The Mediation Unit of the Commission manages a roster of trained, volunteer mediators throughout the State. To become an MCCR volunteer mediator you must be available to mediate at least once a month and fulfill all the program’s training prerequisites and continuing education requirements.
Commission’s volunteer mediation roster is temporarily CLOSED and no new volunteer applications are being accepted at this time. Please check back at a later date.
