MCCR Mission, Vision, and Core Values

Mission

It is the mission of the Maryland Commission on Civil Rights to ensure opportunity for all through the enforcement of Maryland's laws against discrimination in employment, housing, public accommodations, and state contracts; to provide educational outreach services related to provisions of this law; and to promote and improve civil rights in Maryland.

Vision

Our vision is to have a State that is free from any trace of unlawful discrimination.

Core Values of MCCR

The Maryland Commission on Civil Rights' core values are the ideals and principles that are at the heartbeat of this organization and guide the decision-making, actions and behaviors of everything we do.  The core values are:

The Maryland General Assembly’s Office of Legislative Audits operates a toll-free fraud hotline to receive allegations of fraud and/or abuse of State government resources.
