The Maryland Commission on Civil Rights’ Maryland Leadership & Advocacy Program (MLAP) was established to provide leaders with a unique opportunity to expand, refine, and enhance their skills, while placing a strong emphasis on civil rights and its profound impact on the world we live in. MLAP aims to cultivate leaders across diverse organizations, empowering them to foster personal growth, strengthen their teams, and create a positive influence on their communities. Through this program, participants will not only redefine the concept of leadership but also reshape the very nature of advocacy, learning how to take meaningful, impactful action toward positive change.
Who should apply?
The Maryland Leadership & Advocacy Program encourages executive senior leaders, mid-tier leaders, as well as emerging leaders to apply. MLAP will provide an opportunity for leaders to improve cultural competency, enhance their confidence, increase innovation, improve decision making, and provide an access to a network of like-minded individuals!
