The first step to filing a complaint is to fill out our Preliminary Questionnaire ("PQ") inquiry form online. After you complete our online form, MCCR's Intake Unit begins the Intake Process.
Important Information About Filing a Complaint
- Employment discrimination complaints must be filed within 300 days of the alleged unlawful incident
- Employment complaints alleging harassment must be filed within 2 years of the day the alleged harassment occurred
- Housing discrimination complaints must be filed within one (1) year of the alleged unlawful incident
- Public accommodations, state contracts, health services, and commercial leasing discrimination complaints must be filed within six (6) months of the alleged unlawful incident

Note: The completion of this online form does not constitute the filing of a complaint of discrimination with the Commission pursuant to Title 20 of the State Government Article, Annotate Code of Maryland.
