This Hate Bias Reporting Forum will provide community leaders and members with important information in response to the 2024 Hate Bias Report for the State of Maryland - PDF. We will engage community leaders and members in discussions and information sharing on methods to facilitate more effective reporting as well as responding to bias incidents and hate crimes.

Fair Housing Month Events
Fair housing is crucial because it ensures equal access to housing opportunities for all individuals, regardless of their race, color, religion, national origin, sex, familial status, disability, or other protected classes. Fair housing laws help prevent discrimination, provide diversity and inclusion amongst communities, as well as providing economic opportunities for all. Ensuring fair access to housing allows our State to continue to build more inclusive, diverse and sustainable communities for everyone!

This event will highlight how fair housing ensures people with disabilities have equal access to safe, accessible homes free from discrimination. Housing providers must allow reasonable accommodations and modifications so everyone can live comfortably and independently.

State Government Agency Quarterly Sexual Harassment Prevention Train-the-Trainer Virtual Two-Day Course
2026 Quarterly Training Dates (mandatory both days):

Q2: June 3rd & 4th
Q3: September 2nd & 3rd
Q4: November 4th & 5th

This training is open to State Government Employees only. Participants will be required to train their staff to ensure compliance with Maryland's Sexual Harassment Prevention law.
